None of this helped and I still observe the same stuck block numbers remaining, with sometimes a movement of 1 block before that reverses.ĭebian 11 and I am not using a hardware wallet, and I have no firewall or antivirus installed, not using TOR. I have restarted my computer several times, and after reading using a remote node as a suggested fix I added one but removed it a few minutes later and went back to the local node on reading how it is less secure - I want the full benefit of privacy and security that Monero offers. I have approximately 300K blocks left to sync and it seems to move by a single block and back but otherwise there is no movement. On a new system now running 0.18.1.2-release (Qt 5.15.6) several times the last week I let it sync for up to 24 hours and each time syncing has gotten stuck so I removed the blockchain and/or reinstalled. I have been trying to sync the full blockchain again for nearly a week after some corruption occurred after updating.
